Mr. Pollock and Mrs. Clark have recently started an after school STEM club. They are meeting once a week. This week participants created a topographic map, and made a glider. We are very appreciative of them for providing this opportunity to our students!
Reminder for Franklin area schools (with the exception of Macon Early College): Monday, October 31, 2022 and Tuesday, November 1, 2022 are scheduled workdays for the Franklin area. There will be no school for students. Students will return on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.

One of our fourth grade classes did an awesome project today. They made a salt dough representation of NC showcasing the three different regions. We can’t wait to see the finished product once everything has dried and been painted!

Book fair opens this morning! Teachers have signed up for shopping times through the week, and will let you know when those are. We are so happy to be able to invite parents back inside for special shopping hours. Parents are invited to come Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7:40-8:10 and 2:40-3:20.
The PTO will be selling MoonPies to raise money for new playground and walking track equipment. Permission slips were sent home today for your child to receive their first box of MoonPies to sell. First day to sell MoonPies is next Tuesday, September 22nd. Call the school with any questions.
